Creating a Safe Bird Habitat
Every bird species has different cage requirements. Factors such as bar spacing, bar orientation, and bar thickness all play an important role in your bird's safety and well-being.
Larger parrots require stronger, heavier-duty cages to withstand their powerful beaks, while the correct bar spacing helps prevent injury or escape. Choosing a cage that is appropriate for your bird's species ensures they have a safe, comfortable environment to climb, play, and thrive.

To make the transition as smooth as possible, we recommend having your bird's housing fully set up before bringing your new feathered friend home.
Birds need time to acclimate to their new environment, so it's best to avoid making changes to their cage or surrounding area once they arrive. In the first section of our lessons, we cover the essential supplies you'll need, along with proper cage setup and housing requirements.
Please review that section before bringing your bird home. If you have any questions afterward, don't hesitate to reach out, we're happy to help!
