Our Vision:

Little Wings Avian Foster and Rescue is dedicated to providing a safe haven for abandoned, neglected, and surrendered companion birds. We are a judgment-free rescue that understands the difficult emotions involved in rehoming a beloved bird, and we are committed to supporting every owner with compassion, respect, and understanding.

As a home-based, foster-focused rescue, we provide temporary care, rehabilitation, enrichment, and individualized support for birds in need while they await carefully matched forever homes. Our bird care spaces have been thoughtfully designed to create a safe, nurturing environment where each bird can recover, build confidence, express their unique personality, and thrive.

Our mission is to give every bird a second chance through compassionate care, responsible rehoming, and education that promotes lifelong, loving homes for companion birds. We believe that awareness and education are essential in improving bird welfare and helping prevent future rehoming situations whenever possible.

Little Wings is currently a small, independent foster-based rescue built from a passion for helping birds and the people who love them. While we are not yet a funded organization, we use the resources we have available to create a haven where birds can receive the patience, care, and support they deserve.

Our adoption and surrender fees allow us to continue providing essential care, including food, supplies, enrichment, veterinary needs, and ongoing support for the birds who enter our program. Every contribution directly supports our rescue efforts and helps us continue creating better outcomes for companion birds in need.

As we grow, our goal is to expand our ability to support more birds, provide education to more owners, and remain a compassionate resource for our community. At Little Wings, every bird matters, every story matters, and every effort is made to give each bird the chance at a safe and loving future.
